Custom Call for ECC+

Hello,
I would like to use the EasyCalcCheck Plus ( joomla-extensions.kubik-rubik.de/de/ecc-easycalccheck-plus ) plugin as a spam checker.

I started a little experiment with the custom call {easycalccheckplus} in the custom fields. It works, but of course it looked bad.

What can I do? Is it only possible by writing an override? If so, can you give me a step by step description? Or is it too hard for non-experts?

Honestly, I am unsure as I haven't used that plugin. Instead of modifying custom field, I guess you can implement it as a Joomla captcha plugin and then use it?

Events Booking uses recaptcha plugin by default, but you can also use any captcha plugin you want. Isn't EasyCalcCheck Plus a captcha plugin?

Unfortunately, EasyCalcCheck is not a captcha-plugin. I found this at the installation instructions:
"Note from Joomla! version 2.5: EasyCalcCheck Plus is a system plugin and not a captcha plugin. The option "Default Captcha" in the global configuration and in the settings of the user management should be deactivated!"

And this in the backend description:
"Supported 3rd party extensions: aiContactSafe, AlfContact, Community Builder, DFContact, Easybook Reloaded, Fox Contact, Flexi Contact, Flexi Contact Plus, JomSocial, Kunena Forum, Phoca Guestbook and Virtuemart.
With the custom call the plugin can be loaded in every Joomla! form with the syntax {easycalccheckplus} in the template output file."

I like EasyCalcCheck, it is user-friendly and save. But I fear it would be a lot of workaround since I can use it in EventBooking. What do you mean?
Or is there a user-friendly plugin without google and similar services, you could recommend?

If so, I am afraid of custom code need to be added, so it's not something easy to integrate unless you know programming or hire a developer to develop it for you

I haven't used any other captcha plugin, so I could not suggest. Maybe you can search and use one of captcha plugins here extensions.joomla.org/tags/captcha/
