Event Booking Google Map

Hello,

I am setting up the Google Map and was wondering if there is a way to change the link on any tag to go to an article instead of directly to the event?

For instance if I have an event in Denver Colorado I would like the link to go to my article which has much more info than the event does. Then on the article page I will embed the category and that way it will allow for registering.

Hi John

Unfortunately, that's not supported/possible. If you want to have it works like that, I believe some customization will be needed:

1. Customize event add/edit page to allow you enter link to an article related to that event

2. Then modify code in that map module, use that new link instead of link to event details page

This modification will cost you about 40$. Let us know if you are interested with this modification

How do we go about this?

Will you send me the modified files and I just put them in place?
One other question, the tag on the Google Map can it be the name of the Article that it will link to?

Please let me know how to proceed with this modification for $40.
