Overbooking problem: Available places shows -1

my event booking is live now and overall it works well! There is a lot what you get in this component. I'm really impressed.

Nonetheless I had to put some effort to customize the application to my needs. But that is fine. Bookings go in to my list of about 100 events. I have maximum participants, waiting list and event cancel enabled.

From 100 events 20 are already fully booked with registrants in the waiting list. Problem is, 2 of those fully booked events exceed the number of maximum participants by 1. In the frontend the field "Available Places" shows "-1".

Seems to be a bug. I checked the registrants. In one case it is the same user who booked 2 tickets, in the other case there are 2 different users. Registration access is set to Registered. Many settings are global.

Any ideas?

Yes, i's actually a bug in the extension in case two registrants register almost at the same time. Right now, we don't have solution for this problem yet, so Yes, sometime, over booking can happen in the extension

Thank you for the confirmation about the bug. I hope it has high priority in your backlog since it has an impact to the business. Disappointing if you have to decide who's to kick of one of your registrants in case of overbooking by the engine.
