Community Builder Field Mapping was created by Alex
I up a custom field in Events Booking and mapped it to a custom field in Community Builder, but when I have a user edit from either The Event booking side or CB side they don't sync up. Updating on one does not up it on the other.
Should they not be syncing?

Hi Alex
At the moment, it's not syncing. The integration is just simple like this:
1. When someone has an account on CB and register for an event in Events Booking, the data from CB profile will be used to fill-in registration form fields automatically so that users won't have to enter it manually for their registration
2. When the registration is processed, the system will insert the modified data to CB.
When data is edited in CB or data is edited in registration record, it won't be synced (only has affect during registration process)
Hope my answers are clear to you
Regards,
Tuan

Thanks for clarifying Tuan. Should I assume the same situation goes if you are using the standard Joomla user feature?
This could be problematic if a user enters the "EDIT REGISTRANT" from the Registration History page thinking that if they update any part of it (like an address) it updates their user profile as well.
Are there are any plans to be able to sync the fields so they update everywhere? If not, is there a simple way to be able to add a message on the "EDIT REGISTRANT" page (maybe below the title)that says something like:
"Please note updating any information here will only affect your registration and not update your user account information. To update your profile information please go to..."
