Save to calendar, "Invite Friends" compliant to GDPR? was created by Christoph
Hello,
just a question, but is the event registration invitation form and the Save to Google and Yahoo calendar compliant to the new GDPR?
From my understand of the data security and privacy regulation there needs to be a privacy policy checkbox before sending data to Google or Yahoo or before sending names and email addresses of friends through the form.
Wondering if these functions are still legal in the EU without GDPR settings. They are very useful and it would be a shame to disable them just because of those .... I better stop writing here ....
thank you and regards,
Chris

Hi Chris
Data sending to Google, Yahoo for the Save calendar button, I think it doesn't contain any personal information, so I guess it's compatible with GDPR
For invite friend, I am unsure but haven't heard any other customers asking for it. so for now, I guess it can be used as how it's
Regards,
Tuan
