Calender Monthly Layout - Display current day

is it possible to get the current day in Calender Layout in a different color than all other days of month?

Not sure how you want it to be colored? You can try to go to Events Booking -> Configuration, look at Themes tab, look at Calendar section, there is Theme config option

Try to choose from one of the available to see which one works best for your need?

that works fine, but i want to color the current day in an other color than the rest of calendar,

At the moment, we don't have a specific class for today date, so it's not possible. I will add support for it in the next release of the extension
