The issue of transferring data to new site was created by john carter
I've got a question that Is it possible to take a backup of all my events from one Joomla installation and transfer it to a new installation? I want to setup my new site link building services design from scratch then bring the events data into it when I’m ready to go live.

You should be able to export the database tables from your existing site and import them into your new site using a database manager like PHPmyAdmin (probably pre-installed in your web hosting package) or HeidiSQL (my favourite app for accessing my website's database from my computer), etc. You'll have to change the table prefixes to match your new site's database prefixes (if the prefix is different).

And you might want to run EB's [ Tools -> Fix Database Schema / Purge URLS ] ( eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/tools#t...-fix-database-schema ) on the new site afterwards just to make sure the database is up-to-date if you've switched EB versions or if your new site's URL paths are different.

As James pointed out, you can do that by exporting and importing data via PHPMYAdmin, see eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/getting...e-site-to-a-new-site for more details
