Export Registrants report shows too many Custom Fields not needed

When I export registrants list from the Registrants page for a particular event, I get too many fields that we do not need.

One issue is that it shows fields that are not on the form for a particular event. I have custom fields that are specified to show on all events except this event. When I export the registrants list for the event that excludes these fields, they shows up as separate columns with blank entries.
How can I keep these fields off the report?

The other issue I'm having is with group registrants. When someone registers a group, the report shows the group as an individual registrant. Meaning, if John Smith signs up himself and his wife Jane Smith, the report show John Smith twice and Jane Smith once.
Can I eliminate the "Group:" column from the report completely, and not have it show the person who registered the group show up twice?

Hi Lon

1. Not sure how you export? If on Registrants Management screen, you select an event, then press Export Registrants button in the toolbar, then only custom fields related to that registrants will be exported

2. For group registrants, before you export, go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set include group billing records in Registrants Management to No and it won't be exported

Thanks Tuan, the group billing records fixed the extra names in the export.

The extra custom fields still show up however.

I export from the Registrants Management screen, select my event, and then press the Export Registrants button above. Fields that are not even on the form still show up.

These custom fields (child's age and child's gender) use the Field Assignment "All events except those selected". I have my event selected in the event field below. The field therefore does not show up on the form, but it does show up on the report.

The reports also show a ton of columns I do not need even when I don't use any of the setting, such as:
Discount Amount
Late Fee Amount
Tax Amount
Gross Amount
Deposit Amount
Due Amount
Payment Method
Transaction ID
Deposit payment transaction ID

I don't even have discounts, late fee, taxes, or down payments enabled.

Hi Lon

For these fields, we don't have option to exclude it, so you will need to remove it manually after exporting.

For custom fields, if it's needed, you can submit a support ticket so that I can check it directly on your site:

1. Tell me event you exported registrants

2. Tell me ID of the fields which should not be exported but still be exported

I will check to see what's wrong and get it corrected for you

Thanks Tuan, I will submit a ticket for the fields that show up when they should not.

I read a forum post that mentioned there used to be a selector for reports that let you choose which information you wanted on the report. For me, personally, that would be an incredibly helpful feature. Having 10 or so extra columns I don't use or even have turned off makes for a huge report when I have to delete half of it. Why was it removed from the current version?

1. We haven't had something like that in the extension, so I didn't remove it

2. We only have option to allow hiding custom fields in the export. If you want to hide any custom fields, just edit it, set Hide On Export parameter to Yes.
