Group Registration How it Works? was created by LAC Webadmin
Hi Tuan,
Can you briefly explain how the Group and Individual registration works?
Another question is with Group, there is a dropdown Populate Data From... then the options are previous fields Member 1, Member 2... etc. I don't get this, why would I repeat the data in the next Members?
How do I populate Member Info from previously saved member data? Since there is an option under Event Edit called
"Collect Members Information in Group Registration", even this feature is kind of confusing, does EB save that information with the user who is paying for or doing the registration? The dropdown Populate Data From should pull that information, I would assume.
Thanks,
Jackson

Hi Jackson
1. Individual registration allow you to register one user to the event. Group registration allow you to register multiple users for the event.
2. Sometime, members could share same information for some fields (like address, city...). Having this option will help you to have to enter the same information for every member. If you don't want to use this option, just turn it off. Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set Allow populate group member data config option to No
3. To populate members data from previous saved registration, you can set Populate group members data from previous registration config option to Yes
4. "Collect Members Information in Group Registration", I am not sure if it's confusing as you said. Set this to Yes and during group registration, you will have to enter information for each group members. If you set it to No, you won't have to enter group members data for group registration, simple like that
Hope it answer your questions
