Hi Jackson
Unfortunately, it's not possible. If you want to add more filter, you will have to customize the code yourself. There is no config option to add filter dynamically like that
Regards,
Tuan

Hi Tuan,
Would be nice to have it as a feature. Hope you'll have the chance to add it in the future.
Thanks,
Jackson

I would say that custom filter is difficult to implement. So depends on how you want to filter data, I think you will have to customize code to have it works in the way you want
This is something could not be implemented (dynamic filter, base on admin configuration)

Hi Tuan,
No, I don't mean dynamic filter. All I meant is an option to show available filters. For example, I wanted to add Categories in the filters or Location. For sure you already have that code created. My request is to be able to add that as an option in the Search Bar.
Thanks,
Jackson

No, I don't have the code created. As you can see, we only allow filtering events by locations or by date range, or enter keywords for searching events
If you need extra filter, you will need to customize code to add support for it. I will see if I can add categories filter to it in the future

Hi Tuan,
I was looking at the backend structure and it looks to me that you have Event Name, Location, Event Date as relevant filters but you left off Categories. Since I think Categories is kind of an Event Type, it must be a relevant filter to have. For example, I have events that are related to Parties and I would file it under category Parties. I should be able to filter all events with title "New Year" under Parties.
I cannot think of any other filters that I'd like to see in the search bar except Categories.
Thanks,
Jackson

The reason I don't have categories filter there is because most of the case, the events list page will display events from one category (When you access to that page from categories page or from menu item), having categories filter in these cases are useless
If you need advanced filter like that, maybe you should publish and use the Events Booking Search module
I will try to support for categories filter in the future
Regards,
Tuan
