Hi Tuan,

In Event Manager: Edit Event | Messages I can't see how to change the email subject for Registration Form Message (Individual) so it doesn't say 'Your registration for event ... approved'. In Dashboard | Emails & Messages there are several emails/messages where it is possible to change the subject text but not for this one.

How can I change the subject text to Your registration for event ... processed' for this specific event? If it is a Global change that's fine too.

Thanks, Rick

Hi Rick

Go to Events Booking -> Emails & Messages, look at Registration Email Messages tab, find the message Registration Approved Email Subject and change it to meet your need

Thanks Tuan,

I'm doing further testing and hope your answer resolves the situation, but the message that is displayed in the Event registration approved has the body text from the 7th message in the Edit Event Email Messages section, not from Emails & Messages. Or so it appears. I'm waiting for some test messages to come through to check.

I have changed the email subject for the Registration Approved Email Subject in Emails & Messages | Registration Email Messages tab.

Cheers, Rick

Hi Rick

Basically, you can setup the messages in two places:

1. By default, the messages in Events Booking -> Emails & Messages will be used

2. However, if you enter the message for each event, then the message in the event will have higher priority and will be used. The idea is the system allow each event to has it own messages if needed. If the event doesn't wish to have it own message, just leave the messages in event edit empty and the message in Events Booking -> Emails & Messages will be used

Hope it helps answering your questions

Regards,

Tuan

Hi Tuan,

Ah, thank you, I understand: the emails and messages in Events Booking -> Emails & Messages are generic to all Events, while the emails and messages in the Event configuration are specific to that event. The 'Registration approved' message always takes the email Subject info from Event Booking | Emails & Messages | "Registration Approved Email " but if there is text in Event Manager: Edit Event | Messages | "Registration Form Message (Individual)" then that text is used as the body text for the email.

Your initial reply did resolve my situation as the subject line is now what I want it to read instead of "... approved"
