Deposit Payment Question

On Deposit Payment feature, how is the balance payment gets billed? Say I pay $33, is there a set time in the event that the balance will automatically billed in the credit card used in paying the deposit?

We have this event that offers Annual and Bi-annual payment scheme. With our current registration system, the balance payment will have to be processes manually if the user choose to pay Bi-Annual but we're able to automate the billing on the first half.

How does it work? I'm thinking maybe the deposit payment can be used to process this Annual and Bi-Annual requirement.

The remainder payment amount could not be processed automatically
