Alphabetical order

Hi,

Is there any way to show events alphabetically, and not by the creation date?

I was searching for answer and found this topic , but it seems that those changes doesn't work any more.

That depends on the menu item you are using. Could you please let me know what menu option you are using to display events so that I can take a look and guide you with correct modification?

Hi

Just to make customer's life easier, I decided to implement support for it in the core package. You can access to My Downloads menu item, download latest package, upgrade it to your site

After that, you can edit the menu item, change Order By parameter to Event Title and it will work as expected

No code change is needed

I so that there is update, but was afraid to go with it. We have big event coming this week and naturally i'm very afraid of any changes Anyway, i will try it tonight.

One more question, at the moment i have version 3.3.0, update is 3.4.0. Was there any additional versions between these 2 (like 3.3.1 or similar)?

You can update, I don't think there is anything can make your site break. Even if it is, I am available for assist

But if you want to be safe, make a full backup of your site using akeeba backup before upgrading

So i updated component to latest version. Now i see that there is new option "Order By - Event Title", but than i chooce this option, events still showing by creation date. Is there anything else i should do?

That's strange. I have no clue why it is working like that. In this case, please submit a support ticket:

1. Sending us super admin account

2. Sending us the link to the page

We will check it directly on your site to make sure it works for you
