change background color of events in fullcalendar was created by rodolphe aoustin
Hi,
I searched a lot, but I don't see a way to assign a color to an event so in fullcalendar they appear with different colors.
Just like you did on your demo:
joomdonationdemo.com/eventbooking/full-calendar
basically I have 2 type of recurring (weekly) events, for the next 52 weeks.
So 2 types of events, means I would like 2 colors, like one in blue, one in red.
Of course Each child event of the first type of event will inherit its color, so children events of the first type of event will be displayed in blue.
and Of course Each child event of the second type of event will inherit its color, so children events of the second type of event will be displayed in red.
because each week I have occurence of the 2 types of events (with a duration of 7 days), it means for a specific day, I have 2 events (different type, i.e. different parent event), that I expect to be one in blue and one in red so I can easily distinguish.
Today all events are blue since i'm not able to select a color.
i can only select color and background color of a category but that does not change the color of the event in fullcalendar.
thanks
Rod

Hi Rod
The background color of an event in full calendar is controlled by background color if the main category that event is assigned to
If it doesn't work like that on your site, there must be something special on your site causing the issue. Submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site and link to the page so that I can check it
Regards,
Tuan
