Upcoming events-Timeline Layout Help Please was created by Deborah Petersen
1) I would like to get rid of the button that says "Choose Date & Location" but I can't find a config setting for this. How would I do this?

2) I would also like the Details button to show. On the Configuration->Themes screen I have "Hide Detail Button" set to No. Is there some other setting that displays the Detail button?

Hi

The Choose Date and Location button is shown because you have config option Show children events date under parent events set to Yes. Go to Events Booking ->Configuration, set it to No and the button will be hided (also, list of children events will be displayed, too)

The Details button will also be shown (it is hided in this case because Choose Date and Location button has same behavior)

Thanks! That is what I wanted.

Is there a way to to restrict the number of events that show on the page? Say only events for the next week? Or next month? On the Configuration->Themes page I put the Events Per Page to 3 but that didn't seem to do what I wanted. Just what does that do? There is no hint for that setting.

Hi

You can only limit number of events will be displayed on that page. There is no option to show events base on next week or next month setting as you requested

Tuan

OK, I guess I will request the option to limit the display of events based on a time period as a new feature.

However, the last part I need to explain more clearly. I have set the Configuration->Themes page setting Events Per Page to 3 and it still shows 10 events. Is there some place else to limit the number of events per page or is it not working properly?

Hi Deborah

Please check the menu item you created to display upcoming events. There is a parameter called Number events. Enter the number you want there and it should work as expected

Tuan
