Auto populate group billing data

Hello!
Does the "Auto populate group billing data" (from First/Last Group Member) option populate email, First and Last Name fields?

I am trying to setup an as straightforward as achievable group registration form and my goal is to have the Member #1 email, First and Last name automatically copied to the corresponding fields in the Group Billing form.

Am I missing something?

Any fields (from Member 1) with same name with fields on group billing form will be auto populated.

I'm sorry, but this doesn't seem to work...
... I have the fields named "Email", "First Name" and "Last Name" (btw italian translation) both in the group member registration form/section and group billing information form, but nothing is copied.

Please note that any kind of User registration (Joomla et al) is disabled: we don't want to collect user data besides the (one time) event itself.

OK, I found the culprit!

Option "Auto Populate Registration Form Data" must be enabled in order to make the "Auto populate group billing data" feature work!

When you hover the "Auto Populate Registration Form Data" option, the tooltip does not mention this and specifically talks about populating registrant's information from previous event registrations or registered user's profile, but when the user is logged in ONLY!

Since we do not allow Joomla (or any other kind of) user creation, I thought that turning this option on had no effect.

Anyway... GREAT that it works!!!

Yes Daniel. That Auto Populate Registration Form Data must be enabled for this feature to work, I'm glad you figured it out
