Help with the new coupon selling feature via Payment Form

Hello Tuan,
can you provide a short description on how to use the new feature of selling coupon codes via the Payment Form extension? I tried to figure it out myself, but I couldn't find any configuration options in the Payment Form config or in the Events Booking config. I even looked at the installed plugins in Joomla, but I couldn't find anything for the coupon generation via Payment Form.

Hi Jan

I forgot to update Payment Form package, just updated it now. Please access to My Downloads menu item, download latest version of the extension, upgrade it to latest package. Then :

1. Go to Extensions -> Plugins, click on Payment Form - Events Booking Voucher payment plugin to edit, publish it

2. There is a parameter called Form Ids. Enter ID of the form which you are using to sell voucher there

3. Now, when someone makes payment via the Form, the voucher code will be generated. It will be sent to the confirmation email of the user.(You can insert the [VOUCHER_CODE] in the email message if needed to show the generated voucher code

thank you for your help so far! There is one more thing however: I can't get the [VOUCHER_CODE] to be displayed in any message. The code is generated, I checked that in the coupons listing in the Events Booking extension. But I can't get it to be display to the customer. Is the placeholder [VOUCHER_CODE] correct?

By the way: an awesome addition would be to have the feature of creating a ticket for the customer with the voucher code in it. It would be the same function as the ticket function from the Events Booking extension, but with this option in the Payment Form extension we would be capable of creating some kind of nice looking gift cards to be sold.
Maybe this is planned? Or maybe you would be willing to implement this via a payed work?

Hi Jan

Yes [VOUCHER_CODE] is a correct tag. Please note that that tag must be used in Payment Form Email Message, not Events Booking email message

If that doesn't work, there might be something wrong with the setup. Please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site and link to the form so that we can check it
