Events Booking - Upcoming events Module

I am having an issue where I want to display the events like they show up if they are setup using the Category -Default Layout. Problem is because of the restriction of the custom fields and I have to attach them to a category instead of an event which will not work for my needs, I have found I can setup a module using Events Booking - Upcoming events. Problem is when that is set to show on a page there is no Register or Details buttons. What is the point of having this module if it can only be used to view events and no other action can be taken?

You can assign custom fields to events, not to categories. See my response to your other forum topic.

About the module, usually, the module is only displayed in small space, so we won't have enough space to display everything like in the view (access from menu item). That's the reason the module doesn't have register buttons, only link to view details information of event. Users should see the details before registering anyway
