Cannot Update was created by David Clifford
I am getting this message when trying to update Events Booking:
Error
Failed to download package. Download it and install manually from www.joomdonation.com/index.php?option=co...ckage&document_id=56 .
When I try that link it comes up not found.

Hi David
Maybe it is because you haven't configured Download ID yet, see eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/getting...on#use-joomla-update
Regards,
Tuan

When this happens, you have to download the full component and then do a full "install" (not update) in Joomla. I don't know why, but this happens frequently to the Event Booking component. It seems to fail doing updates every 2 or 3 versions for me. I've had Event Booking for several years.
I've had my download ID correctly configured and still get this problem from time to time.

Thank you both.
It turned out to be the download ID. I had another number in there and changed it and it worked fine.
Thanks again

Usually, it happens because the Download ID was used on a different website (could be a dev site). Each Download ID can only be used for one site only
