Event Duplication after Paypal cancel

Hi I can't see if this had been addressed previously.

We have just started using paypal as a payment option.

We have had occasions when the registrant/shopper has cancelled their paypal payment (for what ever reason) but then will proceed with the registration / shop order using paypal. This is causing duplications with either the event registration or the shop order.

Can you please advise if there is a setting to stop this or how I can prevent this from occurring?

By default, if users don't make payment, the registration record won't be shown. Maybe in your case, the cancelled payment record shown and it causes the issue. Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set config option Show Incomplete payment record config option to No. It should help solving this confusing
