Stripe Plugin Need's Tokenization otherwise it doesn't accept payments? was created by Sam Carter

This is not urgent BTW - Im just using paypal in the mean time

but they sent me an email:

To keep your customer's information safe, we were unable to process the unsafe charge you just sent us. In order to process payments securely on Stripe, change your integration to collect payment information using tokenization. Tokenization ensures that no sensitive card data ever needs to touch your server.

In rare cases, you may have to continue handling full credit card information directly. If this applies to you, you can enable unsafe processing in your dashboard.

is this part of the plugin? And if so how do I fix it?

Hi,
This issue is fixed in latest Joom Donation and JD Stripe payment plugin, please download and install latest version of extension and plugin to get the issue solved.

Hi Sam,
You can click on My Downloads at the top, if your subscriptions with Joom Donation and JD Stripe is still alive, you can download them normally or else, you should re-purchase them.
Based on our Term and Condition, when you purchase any product of us, you will have one year free downloading new versions.

yep I have access to download it for free but is that just the original plugin OR is that the plugin thats been updated?

The last update is Feb 12, 2016?

In case you are using Events Booking, you just need to download / purchase latest Events Booking extension

I just purchased the JB Stripe plugin and am getting this tokenization message from Stripe for JoomDonation. Is there a fix for this? It is unusable as it is

Hi - I'm having the same issue as Max.

I don't mind repurchasing the plugin if it now works within Stripe's parameters, but when I go to the plugin info page, it says it's the original version and that it was last updated in 2010.

If I repurchase my subscription for this plugin and download it, will it be the newer version?
