Error: The subscription is restricted to logged in users

I've been using Events booking for years. I've install the newest version to a new site i'm developing which doesn't require registered users to the site to register to the event. I have all of the events set to public registration yet I keep getting this error after I submit the form to process the payment.

"The subscription is restricted to logged in users"

I know i'm probably missing something obvious, but please help.

I figured it out. it had nothing to do with EB. it was the newsletter plug integrated with it.

OK Tony. If it is possible, could you please let us know which one you are using and what did you do to solve the issue? It will be useful if there are other customers get the same issue
