Is there some way to keep the full calendar from generating links with its alias in them?

Main menu item is Events/Calendar so urls are like events/calendar/event-alias-goes-here

But if I make another menu item called Monthly View with the alias monthly-view, and I click an event from that page, I get urls like:
events/monthly-view/spring-day-apart-2018

I set the events/calendar menu item as the default menu item in the SEF router settings tab, but that hasn't helped. Is there some other setting I'm missing?

Update: I figured out how to fix this, you just need to add the Override Menu Item ID feature to the full calendar menu view. I did it myself, but since you have to edit the html.php that's NOT inside the tmpl folder, it really should be done by you and released in the next update. Unless you know of a way to override that file?

thanks!

Hello Jonathan

Could you please send me the link to your site so that I can take a quick look at your setup to understand the requirement better?
