iCody app and check-in was created by Web Manager
Could someone explain in more detail how the iCody app works with Events Booking.
We're about to host our first event with Events Booking and scanning the QR code with a native iOS camera app works but I fear it might be a little slow at the busier times.
From what I understand, the iCody app is meant to speed up the check-in process.
Is this something that can be easily achieved without being a developer?
Many thanks.
Andrew

Hi Andrew
Yes, use ICODY APP will make check-in process much easier and faster:
1. Manager just need to scan QRCODE using the APP without having to login to your website using mobile web browser
2. When scan:
- If QRCODE is valid, a success message will be displayed
- If QRCODE is invalid (or already checked in), a failure message will be displayed
Sadly, from the original development, I only support it if you are using Ticket PDF feature. You have to insert [TICKET_QRCODE] tag into the ticket layout to generate QRCODE which can be scanned by ICODY APP
See eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/advanced-features/tickets-pdf
So if your event has no registrant yet, you can consider using this feature. If event is already taking registrant, it is hard because the original QRCODE could not be used to scan using ICODY APP
