Approval of registrations for a free event

Dear Tuan,

I come back to you again with a little question.

I am organising a free event but want to have control over registrants and approve them one by one. I would like to know it it is possible to set registrants' initial status to "Waiting List", then I can manually change it to "Registerd".

Shall this method not be possible, would you have an alternative suggestion?

I think there is a work around:

1. You set Capacity of the event to 1

2. Enable waiting list for that event

3. Add one registration record for that event (maybe for yourself) so that it will be full. This can be considered as a fake record

By doing that, the waiting list options will be enabled and users who register for the event will be in waiting list so that you can check and approve it
