Default payment method

Is there a way to eliminate the default choice for the payment method, but keep it as a required field? During registration, we want registrants to make a conscious choice for payment type (Paypal or pay by check at the event). We don't want it to default to one or the other.

Unfortunately, it is not possible at the moment. We always default to the first published payment method and could not change it

If you want to change it, there will be some customization to the code needed and we will have to charge you some fee (30$) to make the customization (using override so that it won't be lost on update)

Soon we will start using two options: Pay with Paypal and Pay by Check at the event. I will make Pay by Check the default and see how it goes. If we run into problems I will get back to you on the customization.
