Membership payments was created by Bob Leavitt
We have a club where you can register as a prospective member and attend up to 2 dinner meetings before deciding to join. When they decide to join we move them to one of our membership groups. Currently we accept membership payments only by check. Is there a good way to handle the membership payment online? We are doing event registration payments through Paypal. Could I create an event called Membership Payment (or something like that) and collect payments this way? People can join throughout the year so it would have to be a never-ending event. If there is a better way of handling membership payments let me know.
Thanks
Bob

Hello Bob
For that, I think it is better to use different extension like Payment Form or Membership Pro to handle Membership payment
However, I would say the way you mentioned should work, too
Regards,
Tuan

If you want the event to never finish, then set the date of the event to 2099-12-31 00:00:00
