Ticket Types problem with group registration was created by Karsten Bakker
Hi,
I am trying to setup multiple ticket types however everytime I set them up with like the prices etc. However I use group registration only. But on the event detail page the Register button dissappears when I setup the prices of the ticket types. If I remove them the button reappears.. I also dont see the ticket types in a table, i also set the event price to 0.
Could you provide an answer?

Hi Karsten
1. Ticket types cannot use with group registration. If you enable ticket types for the event, only Individual registration option will be enabled
2. About the register buttons disappear, I think it is because you didn't enter capacity for the ticket type. Please check and make sure capacity is entered and the button should be available
Regards,
Tuan

Hi,
1. How can I sell different ticket types per group then? So that if somone wants to buy a ticket for a whole grou atleast got a choice so that I dont need to make like 6 events with different prices?
2. The registration button only disappears when I fill the capacity en maxiun capacity in.

Hi Karsten
1. The idea behind ticket types types it is allow choosing multiple ticket types in a simple registration process. So on registration form, you see all ticket types, then choose the quantity for each ticket type and process registration. No need for group registration in this case
2. If you want to collect members information for each ticket, then you cannot use ticket types feature. You just use Individual / Group registration instead. The idea is creating a custom fee field (dropdown or radio) to allow choosing ticket type for each registrant and then charge them the fee base on selection, see eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/basic-s...wn-custom-field-type
Hope it will work for you need

Please extend ticket types to include collecting members information and waiting list per ticket type as a matter of urgency.
Mutliple Event Booking events for single events (e.g. junior and senior) causes a lot of work, in terms of ongoing management and the accounting is very difficult as each "event" is treated as a totally seperate sale in the EB reports. UX is also poor when deposits are collected, as a user needs to make a completion payment for each "event" registration.
Thanks,
Donal
