Two day event check-in was created by Web Manager
Most of the free events we run last 2 or 3 days.
Ideally we'd like to know which day or days people came to the event.
1. Is there a timestamp on the check-in feature which would allow us to know which day someone checked in?
2. Is there anyway we can check people in more than once for the same event? eg on day 1 and on day 2?
3. If the timestamp thing was available, would it allow us to check someone out as well?
At the moment, the only way I can see the multiple day check-in working is a bit of a manual process:
1. Set up a custom checkbox field in the admin view for attendance dates and hide from registration view
2. Check people in as normal via the QR code
3. At the end of the day, sort attendees by check-in status and then go into each individual's details and click customer field attendance checkbox for the appropriate day
4. Clear all check-in details
5. Repeat stages 2-4 each day until the event finishes.
The check-out process would require a similarly manual process and people handing in their badges.
Not a huge manual task but if there were steps that could make it easier, such as the ability to check-out everyone in one go, that would be great.
Please let me know if I'm missing something or if there is a better way of achieving our goals.
Thanks

Hi
There is a workaround for this case use Export / Import feature. Basically :
1. Go to Events Booking -> Registrants
2. Select the event from the event filter dropdown (so that only registrants from that event will be exported)
3. Click on Export button in the toolbar to export registrants of that selected event
4. Remove all columns from the file, only keep ID and Checked In column
5. Change value of column header to id and checked_in (name of fields in database table)
6. Change value of checked_in column to 0 (for all records)
7. Import it back into the system
Maybe we can introduce a checkout button to help making this process easier, will try to work on it ASAP (maybe will be available within next week)
Regards,
Tuan

Tuan
Thanks for the reply.
This isn't really going to work for us. We run a lot of events but the event organisers who look after the shows are not massively technical and definitely would not be willing or able to go through this process.
Any progress on the multiple check-out would be great though.
As I mentioned, we are really keen on monitoring how long people spend at the event, so timestamps for entry and exit would be really useful.
Are you aware of any plug-ins that would generate a bar-code or QRCODE that would allow us to monitor people both checkin-in AND checking out and would be compatible with Events Booking?
Many thanks.
Andrew

Hi Andrew
I haven't had this feature implemented yet, unfortunately. This week, I am still busy finishing my other works, so for this, I will work on it and make it available within next week. Come back to me on Tuesday next week and I should have the version which supports multiple checkin and send it to you
Regards,
Tuan
