Broken links in confirmation emails

Thanks so much for the new extension!!

Regarding the customized confirmation emails: I am unable to link to pages of my site within the email. I have no issues editing the html to insert a link, but while I insert a full link like " resources.rmcity.org/curriculum-study/te...ade-2-october-launch ," it gets automatically edited to an internal link "curriculum-study/texas-curriculum-study/grade-2-october-launch," unusable when sent via email.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi Shira

It is a problem with the HTML editor of Joomla, not the problem with the extension. When you edit the message using HTML editor of Joomla and insert a link, If it is an internal link (for example yourdomain.com/link_to_article ), the HTML of Joomla will remove the domain automatically .

In 1.3.2, I am getting broken links in the Invite a Friend email, due to the Itemid on the end of the URL. The first time I clicked the link, I got a white page, but removing the Itemid worked.

Now, when I tried the URL, it works....Solved.
