Front end delete event option ?

Hi,

In the documentation, it is said that delete capability is possible from the front end.

"Finally, you need to create a menu item to allows users manage all their submitted events. To do that, please create a menu tem to link to to My Submitted Events view of Events Booking. When users logged in, they can access to this menu item to see their submitted events, edit, delete.... these events."

I just have the options to modify and unpublish the event. How to get the possibility to completely delete the event, not just unpublished it ?

I am sorry, there is mistake in documentation. At the moment, for security reasons, we don't allow deleting events from frontend of your site. Events can only be deleted from backend only

Thanks. However I don't understand the security reason here for the delete option . The user already has the rights to update its owned events (modify,unpulish).

Actually, I just don't want event is deleted by accident for some reasons. I will see if there are other customers need this feature, if there are, I will consider adding support for it in the future

This is a feature that I need too.
Our Event co-ordinators do not have admin requirements so only use the front end to add their events. If they make a mistake and duplicate an event or just want to delete, they cannot do this and have to ask the admin to do it which causes problems for us.

I would need this feature, too.

I don't see a problem in accidentally deleting own events. Before deleting an event a security message should pop up: Do you really want to delet event xyz?

On most websites it is possible to change and delete own data. So it should not be a problem
