Captcha Support? was created by cosmorphis
I just bought the extension today, and so far it is fitting for my needs. I am currently editing the CSS to go with my template. I like the fact that people don't have to go through the process of creating an account, checking their email, confirming their account, logging in, and then registering. I need it to be simple for my client's customers. The problem is, will they get a lot of bogus registrations? I know when I did email forms in the past, if you didn't have a captcha, they would get a lot of bogus email form submissions. Does this happen often? I don't want my client to get a lot of bogus/spam registrations, trying to sell him viagra, etc. Please advise.
Thank you

Hi
In the current version, Captcha is not supported yet. But this feature will be added to the next release which will be available in about 2 weeks from now .
Thanks,
Tuan

Hello - this is a feature that I would like also (for the same reason as the OP, to avoid SPAM).
Also, the normal behaviour of Joomla, when the global configuration option "new user account activation" is set to "yes" is that the user will get an email asking them to confirm they have registered. But, for some reason, when they register for an event and create a new username, they do not get this confirmation email. Is there something I am missing?
