Registering for event = not registering for site was created by Jean-Paul Harreman
I'm setting up an event for 'outsiders'. So I'm looking to have guests to my website register for an event.
I do not want them to get a login for the website, because this has content I don't want outsiders to look at.
Can I somehow bypass registering these people to the website?
Or can you assign a default ACL-category to event registrants? Then I could just give them access to what I want them to see.

Hi Jean
I don't really understand this question. If you don't want users to register for an account while they register for events on your site, go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set User registration integration config option to No
When you do that, users won't be able to register for an account on your site when they register for your events and it should be fine
Could you please try that and let us know if it works?

Hi, I've disabled the option you mentioned. but if I look at the event, it still says: "Please login to register for this event"

Go to the event configuration, and make sure you have the Registration Access setting as Public. Access should be Public too.
