Custom validation rules ?

Hello Tuan,

currently I'm missing a "custom validation rule" that I can apply to the fields of the registration form. What I would like to see is a "custom validation rule" by which I can specify (in a file, or in an area of the backend) a <php> script that executes some checks on the field and returns 0 or 1 (true/fals) depending on the validation rule executed, meaning false=not accepted and true=accepted field value.

Is there a way to do so ? Is it planned to have it ? I used that several times in an extension I used before moving to EB, and it would be great to have it here as well, I think it would make many of us happy! I don't think it would be too big effort to create it - but certainly I may be wrong as my knowledge of J! programming is less than low !

Unfortunately, we don't support this kind of validation rule at the moment. Right now, there are still more important features I want to focus working to improve Events Booking first

So if there are other customers request for this option, I will consider adding support for in the future. Haven't thought much about it yet, but this is something not really simple to implement, I think
