Hi Tuan,
How are you?
Trying to install an old copy of event booking on a legacy J3.3 site.
The XML says it should work with J2.5 and J3.x.
We get the following error (see screenshot) XML (zipped) is also attached for version number.
I would welcome your comments. Events has never been installed on this site before but we did try and install a more recent copy. Something left behind maybe?
Best wishes,
Ian

Did try to adjust the script down to 3.1.0. and it seemed to install ok but some bits not working, especially the config.
Help please Tuan!!
They are running several old components. So much for trying to help with legacy systems, but you know me. Never one to run away from a challenge.

Hi Tuan,
Think I'll just raise a ticket here on this as we're trying to upgrade the site but I think I've made a "schoolboy" error and forgotten to do something on the new site. Super admin credentials will be in the ticket.
This must be easier than chasing my tail around in circles.

Hi Tuan,
yes it was me.
I'd only enabled one of the URL restrictions plugins - I hadn't enabled the second one that does a redirect.
Stupid schoolboy error.
Must confess that I don't remember seeing that in the setup instructions but I am getting old and probably missed it.

OK Ian. I'm glad you were able to get it sorted (I asked you for more information about the issues in the support ticket yesterday because I didn't understand it. I guess I can forgot the ticket for now because you got it sorted)

Tuan
