[SOLVED]Frontend - com_eventbooking » Submit Event was created by Chabo Communications and Design
Hi,

We just notice, on the frontend submit event, all the Event are automatically «Published»

Since this is public, would not it be wiser to validate them before publishing them?

Because as soon we hit a spammer, this calendar is gonna be a free for all and a real nightmare.
If you just can tell us where to change the code to unpublished, I will be happy.

Regards,
Mathieu

Hi Mathieu

What Joomla user group you are using to submit event? Maybe it is an account belong to a group which is having edit state permission and they can choose to publish event on submit event form? Please try to submit event using a standard Registered account and check the result

If the issue still happens, please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site and link to submit event form so that we can check the settings further

Hi,

It was working for at least 1 year until I upgrade to the latest version.

I attache a screenshot of my setting.

On the Website, public people can submit event but we need to be sure an Administrator can published them.

NB: I send a ticket just in case with all the information

Regards,
Mathieu

Hi Mathieu

As Giang (my co-founder) pointed out, you can go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set Default Event Status parameter to Unpublished and it will be OK

Well, glad is working now.

Hi Mathieu

This was an existing settings, however, from version 3.1.0 we changed some code so that it is easier for customizing the event submission form layout if needed

For example, you can remove Access setting on the form and the system will use Default Access level in configuration for the access level of the event....
