No email "Registration canceled" to registrant

Am I right that no email is sent to the registrant in case of canceling a registration?
I also can't find a template for this email, only for the admin.
I think that this should be possible, especially if registration is canceled by admin in the backend.

Yes. You are correct. At the moment, the system only notify administrator when someone cancels their registration from frontend of the site

There is no email sent to user, even in case the registration is cancelled by admin from backend. I agree that it is useful when there is email sent to user when admin cancel his registration, so I will try to add support for it in very near future

Another hint regarding registration:
There is no appropriate button in the backend registrants view to cancel a registration from backend. Only deletion is possible, but the record will be deleted in this case. If the user cancels his registration from frontend, the record is marked as canceled.
Would it be possible to provide a 'Cancel' button in the backend registrants view also?

There would be too many buttons. So in case you want to cancel, just click on the record to edit, change registration status to Cancelled and it would work well

This feature actually was available. You just need to go to Events Booking -> Emails & Messages, look at the first tab, find the two items:

1. User Registration Cancelled Email Subject
2. User Registration Cancelled Email Message

Enter necessary email message into above two settings and email will be sent to registrants when admin change their registration status to Cancelled
