Merge registration and group registration

Hey Tuan,
our customers have severe problems to distinguish between registration and group-registration. (I do not understand that, but that is the feedback)
Do you see any possibility to merge the process of registration (group and singel)? To make it less "complex"?

Maybe just extend the group registration process and "kill" the singel registration.

I had similar trouble with these two registration possibilities in the past.
But, as nearly all registrations to our events are made by adults registering one or more childs, I only allow group registration. For that, I changed the text "Registration (group) " by "Registration" in the Translation tab, and for every event requiring registration I have to take care that the minimum number for group registration is set to 1. (The default value in the field is 0, that means that a group must have 2 members at minimum. I have asked Tuan already to get this value as a config Parameter, such that I would no more need to check, but this improvement is not yet made).

Thus, for my events, registration is easy, I just need the number of members to register, and their first names, the billing info is taken for the person which does the registration, and this is always a registered user.

I did not think of this solution. Thank you for this idea. I think this will work for this skiing season. But it would be great if Tuan could merge the process in a future release.

The solution Leo mentioned is correct and can be used in this case. For Individual Registration, I can see that it is still useful for most of customers because in case someone register for themself, the Individual Registration is simpler and easier to use (no need for two extra steps enter number of member and billing information step)

So if you want to merge it, use the solution mentioned by Leo, it will work well

Yes. Go to Events Booking -> Events, edit the event and you will see Min Number of Registrants For Group Registration setting to change it to meet your need
