EB mandatory date of birth field not showing data

A number of registrants have said they filled in the DOB field which is only supposed to come up for 0-14yr old age groups BUT the data is not there when I view the record and download. See attachment for setup.

Could you please try to re-procedure the issue yourself and let us know step by step what we need to do to see the error ourself?

We need to find a reliable way to re-procedure the issue so that I can understand, then check to see why it happens and get it sorted

I have the same issue with the Date field. The case:
So the event organizer wants to know the Birth date and we use the custom type field "Date" for this.
- If the user uses the date field button to fill the info there is no issue and the date is saved.
- But if the field is edited or filled in manually the data is not saved in the form and the send mail.
Users Will make this mistake so now it seems only using a "Text" field is safe for this.

The main question is how you entered the date manually? Maybe you are entering data in wrong format and that's the reason it's not saved?

Thanks. We need the birth date so it's required but I think we should do something with the validation before sending, because it does not say now what is wrong with it, it just sends an empty field.

Actually, there is some kind of JS validation. Maybe we will need to perform server validation as well

Will look at it and improve this in future releases

Thanks again Tuan, I changed the default validation (at Field Data Validation) to "Past date", I think this should do the trick.
