EB still showing CB 'lastname' field incorrectly

This has been a glitch for years now - can we please get it fixed?

It happens when all 3 fields are enabled in Community Builder - firstname middle lastname

If someone has name John E Smith

EB will retrieve this for firstname and lastname:

First Name: John
Last Name: E Smith

Then when someone registers, it saves the lastname in CB database as "E Smith"

Then, the new name for this person is now written as "Jon E E Smith"

PLEASE FIX THIS! Thank you!!!

Honestly, I haven't looked at CB for long time. Any chance of submitting a support ticket so that I can check your config and the mapping which you are having on your site to see why it happens and get it corrected?
