I guess there is a bug in the JDownloads plugin. Maybe in K2, it works because there is only one editor in the page
In case there are multiple editors like in Events Booking, it won't work. So I guess this is something JDownloads team needs to check and fix it
Could you please submit a support ticket on their website to see what they say?

Hello,
I contact Jdownloads.
But I make a point:
When I directly insert the link as {jd_file file == 6} without going through the Jdownloads button in the editor, the download link is visible in the event. If I click on the detail of the event, the link is in the form {jd_file file == 6} Voir: Open night Schwenheim

All I can confirm is that if the same syntax works well for a Joomla article, then it will work well on Events Booking event description
So from what you wrote, look like the link is being displayed already. What's wrong?
