How can I cancel an parent event without childrens

I have to cancel the parent event. But after that, all children events are not displayed in the frontend. Could you help?

Could you please explain more details, how did you cancel the parent event? I need to understand exactly what you did so that we can guide you to check it further

Maybe go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set the config option Show children events date under parent events to No would solve the issue

attached you find a screenshot. Hope that helps. When a parent-event is not published, all children-events are not published, when the option: "Show children events" is activated. Is there any solution for that. I just want to show a Date-List and not every single event among themselves.
