How to display a selection of events?

Probably someone is much smarter than me and found a solution for this.

I have over 1000 events in about 20 categories. Some of these events have something in common like eg they are discounted, they are for similar target groups etc. So . . . it was necessary to display them together on a separate page (like eg the page "discounted events". I searched for a tagging option but could not find it. A featured option is there, but this would only take care of one query an not more. As such I decided to just make additional categories . . . and am not happy about it. What happens is that you can now find the same event on two or sometimes 3 different URL . . . not good for SEO (lot of canonicals) and besides an extra complication for using modules that you consistently want to show on a category .

Does anyone have an option for avoiding this messy solution? Is there a tagging component (as well as a way to display events with similar tags)? Or does someone have an altogether much better solution for this?

Any help and ideas appreciated, as I started to translate the site and with each language . . . the problem becomes bigger.

I am sorry but at the moment, Events Booking doesn't support tags feature, so it is not possible to do that. The only way right now is grouped these events into additional categories like you said and then create a menu item to display events from that selected category

Tag could be a solution for this problem but honestly, it won't be available in near future. Something I can try to add support for it the future, but it will take about 2 or 3 months to have it implemented as I still want to work on other improvements first
