how can an registrant Notify his deposit payment? was created by Alejandro Lagreca
hi tuan, we are asking if is possible for an registrant notify his payment at the front end, i assume this is possible because there exist an Deposit payment admin email.
how is this process? how can i enable this feature?
EDIT1: apparently the Component creates an deposit notification link in an automatic way, the link can be sended via email using the tag [DEPOSIT_PAYMENT_LINK] as described HERE
I tried that but when i click on the link the target says "Please enable atleast one none offline payment methods " and nothing else appears on the page... i only use offline payment method (BANK TRANSFER), so.... can u guide me?

Hi Alejandro
If you want to use offline payment, I think making payment for remaining amount doesn't need to be handled via Events Booking. Users can send that remaining amount directly to your bank account, then you can change the Payment status to Full Payment
The making remainder payment feature is designed so that users can complete the final payment amount using one of online payment method such as PayPal.... In your case, it is offline payment, so users will need to send payment to you manually somehow and not need to be handled through the system

uhmmmm so i think im wrong... i was thinking tha the deposit notification feature was intended so users make a reservation, choose the offline payment method and when they make the deposit or transfer, they notify the payment like "look goys i already paid the reservation, please let me in when i reach the event front door..." that is what we need, rigth now users make the reservation but i have to check the email for the payment notifications, then go to mu bank and check if it was really made... and manually changue the status to "deposit paid".
the point is, we sell training courses (presential), the people who register to one of our courses, make the reservation via web, the only payment method accepted is bank transfer, so we have a bunch of reservations and we give the people 48 hours to report his payment via EMAIL, we was thinking peopl can report his payment via Frontdesk, instead Email.

Hi Alejandro
The extension doesn't work like that. In case users make payment for you (via offline method like Bank transfer...), they will have to notify you somehow (phone call or email) and then you will need to check and change status of the registration record manually
There is not a way to allow users to inform that they paid the deposit via Events Booking system
