Event Deposits from front end was created by Ian Hyde
Hi Tuan,
I understand from a previous post (just can't find it) that the deposits feature is NOT shown by default in the front end for creating a new event. OK. How about this?
Default Event Status is set to unpublished.
User enters new event.
We then go in,through the back-end, check the event is suitable (we would do that anyway), enable the deposit section and publish the event.
That would work wouldn't it for both single and recurring events?
Very best regards,
Ian

Hi Ian
Yes. That would work. And in case you need to enable deposit payment settings in frontend, we can help with small code modification, too. Just submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site and the link to the submit event form so that we can do the modification

Tuan,
I;m trying to do this and members discounts, within the given parameters of the components. I am trying to not to force any "hybrids".
Good to know that part of the theory works.
Membership discounts is more tricky - may just have to remove those fields on the front end display.
Comments welcome regarding membership discount as the originator could always edit the discount percentage.
I might just open a ticket on these two options. Might be easier. Then I'll share when we've arrived.
