Doesn't show past events

Hi

I am familiar with events booking and have it on my site 1.7.1 and a friend has it on their site. 2.1.1.

On his site, the only way we can get past events to show is to set the cut off date in the future.

Hide past events is set to "no".

Is there anything I've missed, as all settings appear to be the same on both sites.

Maybe it is because the menu item used to display events is upcoming events menu option. Change the menu item to use Category Default Layout menu option (for example) and it should work

The upcoming events page will only display future events (that's why it's called upcoming)
