Hi Tuan,

Is there a way to prevent a duplicate registration within a parent/child group of events?

Trying to find a way to limit the number of waiting list spots by event (for example we have an event where we may get 30 people on a waiting list. Every time there is a cancellation, the auto-generated email goes out telling them "you have been moved up a spot". This cause a flurry of phone calls of people asking how close they are to getting in. We would like to be able to limit this particular event waiting list to 6 people for example.

Finally, is there a way to customize the waiting list message by event?

1. Unfortunately, we don't have support for prevent a duplicate registration within a parent/child group of events. At the moment, prevent duplicate registration will only work for a single event

2. We also don't have an option to limit number of waiting list for each event. If you really need it, you can hire someone or hire us to customize it for you to support this feature. It will cost you about 40$

3. We don't have waiting list message for each event. First time hear about this request, so if there are more customers requesting for it, I will try to add support for in the future

In latest version 3.0.x, we already allow enable/disable waiting list by event. Update to latest version 3.0.2 for now, then edit an event, you will see Enable Waiting List setting for each event (default to Use Global mean use the setting from Configuration)

For prevent duplicate registration like that, I don't have plan for it in near future. Let's wait to see whether there are other customers requesting for it
