category not displayed

Hi Guys,
my client wants to have events selected by year und menu items. Menas he wants one menu item events 2017 and one menu item events 2018. So I created a category "2017" and "2018". and many child categories under 2017.
in menu item I chose: upcoming event > select category:2017.

There must be something not correct with the setup. Please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site and the link to that page

Just want to update that this is just something with setting in the extension. In this case, you want to display events from sub-categories, so just go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set the config option Show events from all children categories to Yes and the issue will be solved
