Registration Date and Discount Date not in Sequenc

Hi,
Our actual location (UTC- and our server (UTC-6) are in different time zones. We offer early bird discounts. We had 3 persons register after 11PM, but before midnight on the discount cutoff date, 8/4/2017, but they were not granted the discount. The "Registrant Manager: Registrants page (attached) shows their registration date as 8/4/2017, but the "Registrant Manager: Edit Registrant" page (attached) shows registration date as 8/5/2017. Apparently, the same time reference is not being referenced throughout EB.

I've changed the server time zone setting in Joomla! to our actual location, will that cause the local time to be honored for discounts, etc.?

Yes. The system use your site's timezone to calculate the discount. It doesn't know about your actual location, so it has to rely on your site timezone to calculate the discount

As you change your site timezone to your actual location timezone, it will work OK from now on
