Eway plugin and TLS 1.2

A client has an old Joomla site (2.5.2) using old version of Event Booking (1.4.1) using Eway plugin - does the Eway plugin need any update for TLS 1.2?

Yes. I am afraid of modification to the code will be needed. I am going to update the Events Booking package next week to have it compatible with new Eway's requirement.

However, in your case, you are using very outdated version of Events Booking, and Joomla, so I don't really know what to do because we changed the code of the extension + the payment plugin too much from that time

Maybe you can attach the code of Eway payment plugin here (components/com_eventbooking/payments/os_eway.php) here. I will try to make a separate modification and re-upload it here (it is not the one which we are using on latest version of the extension)
